This is my first time "blogging". Before taking this class, I had heard about blogs but never gave any thought to creating or maintaining one. I think the main reason for not wanting to do so is because life, as I am sure many of you know, can be very busy at times, and my life has been busy for the past five years. Life was busy before that at times, but the past five years have been more of a focused, consistent busy, balancing work, school and family.
With the introduction of this class, I now have a reason to make time for a blog. This is my second year in the IMC program at Marist. Based on what I have learned so far, I better see the importance of a blog as a way to engage with your audience, and the community in general.
What will this blog be about? What content will inspire you, the social connoisseur, to want to keep coming back for more? The title of the blog is "Charlotte's dad". As of two and a half years ago that became my new identity. Through life we all have different roles we play, and this is my latest, and best role I have had to date. As for inspirational content, this blog will have a little of this (Marketing, Advertising, Sales, Public Relations, Social media), and a little of that (Everything Else). Enjoy!
